Dedica for School
As usual, Dedica addresses the new generations through specific events specially made for the students from the Upper High Schools of the Province of Pordenone, offering them the chance to discover great international authors. The initiative is supported by the Province of Pordenone, the Municipality of Pordenone and Coop Consumatori Nordest.
Words on the stage
This particular event will deepen the students’ knowledge of Luis Sepúlveda’s personality, allowing them to approach his world and his most important works. During the Festival, the students will have the honour of meeting the famous author on Wednesday 11th March at Teatro Comunale Giuseppe Verdi at 3.00pm.
Words and images for Luis Sepúlveda
The contest’s aim is to actively engage young people by asking them to describe the emotions awoken in them by Luis Sepúlveda’s works, through an essay or a cover for one his novels.
Coop Consumatori Nord Est Prize
COOP Consumatori Nord Est will provide the prize for the winner of the contest “Words and images for Luis Sepúlveda” (reserved to the upper high schools and student groups taking part in Dedica School Project).
Special Dedica Prize
The award is established by the Municipality of Pordenone within the contest “Europa e Giovani 2015” (Europe and Young People 2015), set up by the Istituto Regionale Studi Europei (IRSE), and reserved to University students. The prize will be awarded to the best text presenting Luis Sepúlveda’s works.
Dedica on Bookblog at the Turin Book Fair
As usual, Dedica works with the Turin International Book Fair. All its events will be featured on the Fair’s BookBlog, an online newspaper created by students to present the protagonists, the ideas and the events concerning the most relevant Italian book festivals. Dedica will be followed by a group of bloggers from the Liceo Grigoletti Hingh School in Pordenone, coordinated by professors Pier Paola Busetto and Daniela Gasparotto.
