Inauguration
Opening of the festival with Atiq Rahimi
presented by Fabio Gambaro
As has become traditional, the festival begins with a conversation with its guest. The conversation will be hosted by writer and journalist Fabio Gambaro, who will introduce the public to Atiq Rahimi and his multi-faceted cultural universe, in which his passion for writing, literature and the visual arts are always perfectly in tune with his origins and the world which surrounds him.
Further information and unpublished material are included in the monograph which accompanies the festival: an interview with the writer conducted by Fabio Gambaro, an original essay by Tahar Ben Jelloun and an unpublished work written for Dedica by Atiq Rahimi, Le mie parole in pegno.
Dedica a Atiq Rahimi, edited by Fabio Gambaro and Claudio Cattaruzza, will be on sale for €5,00 during the course of the festival or can be ordered on this website (Books Section).
