In this work, Atiq Rahimi returns to the theme that runs through all his writing: his forced flight from his native Country, an upheaval that leaves those affected feeling like “wandering souls from another place”. This intimate and poetic story, which narrates the life of an exile and his unending suffering, is brought to the stage by the voice of the author, which is alternated with that of Alice Rahimi.

Alice Rahimi

She discovered her love of the dramatic art at a very early age, and by 17 she had passed the audition and was accepted as a student at the Studio-Théâtre d’Asnières later taking acting lessons at Le Foyer acting school. In 2017 she was admitted to the Conservatoire Supérieur d’Art Dramatique in Paris. She has performed in theatres, at the Maison de la Poésie and in films for television.
