Inauguration
Opening of the festival with Gioconda Belli
presented by Federica Manzon
As has become traditional, the festival begins with a conversation with this year’s guest. The conversation will be hosted by writer and journalist Federica Manzon, who will introduce the public to Gioconda Belli and her multi-faceted cultural universe, in which her passion for literature and poetry and her civil and political commitment are always perfectly in tune with her origins and the world which surrounds her.
Further information and unpublished material are included in the monograph which accompanies the festival: an interview with the writer conducted by Federica Manzon, contributions by Andrea Semplici, Mara Donat and Marco Fazzini, a number of unpublished verses and a work written for Dedica by Gioconda Belli, La mujer sandwich.
Dedica a Gioconda Belli, edited by Claudio Cattaruzza, will be on sale for €8.00 during the course of the festival or can be ordered on the festival’s website shop.
