Jaime Climent De Benito
Born in Alicante, Spain, Jaime Climent De Benito studied Spanish and Catalan Philology at his home town’s University, where he was awarded a research doctorate in the field of Spanish linguistics and language teaching. After holding a number of positions at educational institutes in Spain, France and Germany, he moved to the Department of Romance Languages and Literatures at the University of Klagenfurt in Austria, where he has held the post of Senior Lecturer since December, 2014. As well as courses in language and culture, he is also involved in teacher training and director of Romance Philology.

 

Martina Meidl
Martina Meidl teaches Spanish and Spanish-American Literature at the Department of Romance Languages and Literatures at the University of Klagenfurt in Klagenfurt. She was awarded doctorate in Romance Philology by the University of Vienna, with a thesis on the poetry of Octavio Paz, published in 2015 (Poesía, pensamiento y percepción. Una lectura de Arbol adentro de Octavio Paz). Her research activities focus mainly on the following areas: fictional novels, war stories and modern and contemporary poetry.
