Dedicated to children
Animated reading from the book of the same name by Hisham Matar and Gianluca Buttolo
by Association 0432
A fable for readers of all ages. The story recounts the life of a full stop which is tired of obeying the rules of grammar and living with its comma friends, and dreams of a different life. “I don’t understand why I must always wait for the end of a sentence”. Dot wanted something more, so he starts to study his real being, first imagining himself as a tree, then on the moon and in a light, coloured balloon.
And this is how Dot discovers the most important thing of all: the whole world consists of millions of small dots and that he is much more similar than he had ever imagined.
Il libro di Dot is an illustrated book authored by Hisham Matar and illustrated by Gianluca Buttolo for ReNoir Comics.
