Martina Meidl
Martina Meidl is lecturer of Literature at the Department of Romance Studies of the University of Klagenfurt. She completed a PhD in Romance Studies at the University of Vienna with a thesis on the poetry of Octavio Paz, published in 2015 (Poesía, pensamiento y percepción. Una lectura de Arbol adentro de Octavio Paz). Her post-doctoral dissertation, discussed in 2020, concerns literature on the Great War (La poesia come mezzo di rappresentazione dell’esperienza di guerra. Poesia di poeti combattenti e veterani francesi della Grande Guerra). She conducts research mainly in the following areas: fantasy fiction, war literature and modern and contemporary poetry.
Marco Bianchi
Marco Bianchi is Senior Lecturer at the Department of Romance Studies of the University of Klagenfurt. After graduating from Padua, he obtained a PhD at the Institute of Human Sciences – Scuola Normale Superiore and has worked at the Universities of Heidelberg and Halle. He has published a monograph on Galileo and a number of essays on the language of Italian poetry.
