Lucia Fiorella
She teaches English Literature in the Department of Languages and Literature of the University of Udine. She is a specialist in South African literature written in English and published the first Italian work dedicated to J.M. Coetzee (2006). She then addressed different questions regarding writing about life, including autofiction. She has worked on travel literature, in particular early twentieth-century polar exploration; she has examined in depth certain aspects of the relationship between literature and the visual arts in contemporary life and has studied literary accounts of madness. She has written eight entries for the Dizionario dei Temi Letterari UTET (2007).
