The festival provides a venue for awarding prizes for the works chosen by the jury of the Parole e immagini per Kader Abdolah competition created as a personal re-elaboration (in writing, visual or multimedia language) of this original educational pathway.
The event also provides an opportunity to meet the Dedica featured author. It is reserved for students of local secondary schools involved in the project Leggere con Dedica and provides an opportunity for further in-depth study of the themes emerging from his books.

The Higher Schools that participated in the Reading training course and the Competition are the Liceo Leopardi-Majorana and the Liceo Grigoletti from Pordenone, the Liceo artistico Galvani from Cordenons, the Licei Le Filandiere and the ISIS Paolo Sarpi from San Vito al Tagliamento, the IIS Torricelli from Maniago.
