Julien Zanetta
He is an Associate Professor at Ca’ Foscari University Venice. He is a scholar of French Literature specializing in Charles Baudelaire. His research concentrates on poetry and nineteenth-century art criticism, the relationship between literature and painting and the work of Jean Starobinski. He also helped edit the Œuvres complètes of Baudelaire for the Bibliothèque de la Pléiade.
He is the author of five monographies dedicated to Baudelaire and nineteenth-century aesthetics and has taught French literature in different European universities.
