At the end of the festival, a concert full of rhythm, vitality and energy with Dublin’s best soul band: The Commitments. Led by the inimitable Dave Finnegan, the unforgettable character Mickah Wallace, the band’s passionate drummer in the legendary 1991 film by Alan Parker entitled The Commitments.

Dave Finnegan’s Commitments
Before being selected for the film The Commitments, Dave Finnegan was part of Dublin’s street music scene. After the film’s success, he embarked on a career as a professional musician where he worked with famous international artists and started his own band that played in different parts of the world. The project is not just a simple ‘tribute” but, beyond the essential items of the sound track, brings us the best sound soul and R&B based on the greatest legends of these musical genres.
