Dialogo fra Luis Sepúlveda e Giancarlo De Cataldo
conduce Paolo Soraci
The Festival ends with a meeting between two great writers, very different from each other but sharing the idea that literature must get involved, meet Evil’s eyes with no fear and expose social changes, the perverse twine between politics, finance and criminal syndicates, the darkest aspects of human lives. According to Sepúlveda and De Cataldo, though, literature also has to tell the story of rebels and losers, of those left at the edge of society with no voice, of those that still retain their dignity and collectively “resist” in a world that seems to want to imprison people in themselves.
Giancarlo De Cataldo

After Michele Placido’s successful film adaptation, Sky produced a whole TV series based on Romanzo criminale.
